How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026

Hey guys! I know I have been MIA from the blog for a while (most of the year actually) but I went MIA for very good reasons! 

2025 has been full of blessings and amazing memories. As we start goal setting for 2026, I want to recap how 2025 became my best year yet and how going into 2026, I am feeling such a fresh mindset and this positive momentum we had in 2025 will in fact continue in 2026. I want to continue to be a positive force within not only myself but also for the people around me as well.

2025 became the year I have been longing for since I stepped into this crazy world of adulthood at 18 years old and that is, working full time in marketing/social media. Within the company I have worked for the past 2 1/2 years, this past June I switched departments from Membership/Recruitment to full on Marketing which if you have been following me for a while has been an absolute dream come true. 

When they say your early 20s are for learning about adulthood and your late 20s are for going full into the career you have worked so hard to build, they are not kidding. I did not go the traditional college route as many around me had which was always an obstacle for me but through self-teaching myself this world and content creating myself in many aspects whether that is blogging, podcasting, or even like I do now building an entire online community, I feel like all of the hours of making content have finally paid off and I get to do this 24/7 which is an absolute dream come true.

I cannot be more grateful for the life I get to live every day in my career and even with my social media projects outside of work, it is all a dream come true, and I can't wait to enter 2026 with my dream career!

Speaking of my social media projects outside of work, I have taken my event planning to the next level by founding with my 2 good friends Alexis & Denzy, The Brunch Club based off of one successful event we had back in June. The Brunch Club is our local spinoff of the coffee/house/daytime clubbing trend that has been going viral in other cities, and it went from a one-time event to a once-a-month event.

Within hosting social events these past almost 3 years, I have done everything from intimate book club meet ups to hosting 50+ people at a beach resort for a campfire s'mores event. Every event has been different in their own ways, but I wanted a little bit more consistency in my events this year and I definitely think I have found that with The Brunch Club.

The Brunch Club is a mix of everything I love from coffee, good music, dancing during the day, & being in bed by 9PM. The community I have met not only from The Kickback who are the DJ Collective that I do this with but the attendees that regularly go to the event, it has changed my life for the better and I cannot be more grateful to be going into 2026 with them.  

Usually, every year I do New Years Resolutions but this year, I want to switch it up. I feel like in this era of my life I'm very much into this, let's reach this goal and excel at it so with that being said, here are my 26 Goals I want to reach for in 2026.

26 Goals for 2026:

1. Continuing to thrive in my career and putting my main focus in my passions. 

2. Continue to explore more creative ideas.

3. Continue to host The Brunch Club & continue to spread the vision of building positive community.

4. Continue to run Navigating Corpus Christi & spread the vision of the brand more & more.

5. Assist in planning the most iconic 10 Year High School reunion EVER since I am proud to announce I am a part of the planning committee officially!

6. Prioritizing being around those who have meaning to me from family to friends.

7. Listen to as much live music as you can!

8. Deep dive into Barre and Pilates workouts and finding my own flow to it.

9. Learn how to successfully shuffle dance.

10. Plan a Self-Care/Mental Health Day once a week and find a routine that best relaxes you.

11. Get back into Journaling regularly.

12. Get back into Meditating every day.

13. Make healthier eating choices.

14. Relying less on caffeine as a source of energy and finding healthier alternatives.

15. Get back into reading regularly.

16. Taking more hot girl walks. I want to walk 8-10k steps a day!

17. Prioritize where my money is spent and save it on things that I need more than things I want.

18. Continue to spread positivity 24/7 and be that positive force for those around you.\

19. Give back more to the community.

20. Eat out less and eat more in.

21. Minimize your use on Door Dash because the fees ADD UP.

22. Be less dependent on sugar.

23. Take an hour out of your day to check up on the people you love whether it's through a quick message or a call.

24. Attend more unique local events!

25. Go on a road trip across the Texas Coast and visit every costal town.

26. Host more gatherings with your closest friends (2-5 people at a time).
