A Positive & Consistent Quarantine Routine

Hey guys! Are you going crazy in Quarantine? I sure am! Are you wanting to switch up your everyday routine in Quarantine dedicated to becoming the best version of yourself? Then this is the post for you! Today, I'll be showing y'all a consistent Quarantine routine that will make you the best version of you!

Wake Up & Drink Some Coffee or Tea

I'm not going to give y'all an exact time to wake up because let's face it, our sleeping schedules during Quarantine are a MESS or at least mine is! I saw a post on Twitter & it was a thread of everyone's Quarantine sleeping schedules & I was blown away by how different everyone's routines have been! Some people have been going to bed at 5am & some are going to bed at 10pm! I'm not going to pressure y'all to wake up at the same time everyday because I know how hard sleep has been for everyone! ANYWAYS! The first thing I do to wake up in the morning is drinking some coffee or tea! I switch it up everyday depending on what my mood is but I like doing this first thing in the morning because you can sit up, still relax, & give yourself some much needed time to wake yourself up!

Quarantine Breakfast 

Quarantine has me waking up at 9am or 11am so I don't really make Breakfast the biggest deal! I either eat a Nutri Grain Bar or some Grapes! Just a little something in my system before I start my morning workout which leads me to the next part of my routine... 

Workout Of The Day

I then change into a sports bra with either leggings or athletic shorts & go on to my workout of the day! I prefer to workout in the morning because it gives you that jump start to your day plus if I'll procrastinate it if I put it off till later & I'm more likely to get it done in the morning! My workouts change everyday & someday I'll do a post all about that but 96% of the time I'll find a workout on the Planet Fitness app or on their Facebook page!

My Morning Skincare Routine

It's not a lot but I'm going to tell y'all what I do! I brush my teeth, then I use my Mario Badescu Enzyme Cleansing Gel & massage it for about 3 minutes! This is going to sound so dorky but the way I time out how long I massage my face is with music. I find a song that's about 2:50-3:30 minutes long & massage my face while the entire song plays! I then wash my face & move on moisturizing my face! For toner, I use the Mario Badescu Cleansing Lotion "C" which I place the toner on a cotton ball & apply it all over my face & then I use my Garnier SkinActive Moisture Rescue Face Moisturizer

Finishing Off My Morning Routine


After I do my morning skincare routine usually before Quarantine, I use to spray my face with my Mario Badescu Facial Spray but I really am not trying to do it too much so I can save my spray for times I really need it plus my moisturizer tends to do the job find, I really just use the spray for to feel good & have that fresh cucumber smell on my face! I do not sleep with my bangs down & I clip them back every night to let my forehead breathe so after my morning skincare routine I clip my bangs down, wash them with shampoo, & then blow dry my bangs so they'll be fresh & clean for the day! After that, I get changed into my clothes for the day & put on deodorant & body mist! I finish off my morning routine with using dry conditioner to condition the bottom of my hair to leave it nice & smooth & then I'll brush my entire hair out! I use the It's A 10 Miracle Leave-in Product!

Lunch & Begin Binge Watching

I tend to have lunch around 12:30pm everyday sometimes it will change depending on how long I take doing the rest of my morning routine! Anyways, I'll eat lunch & I'll start binge watching one of the TV shows I'm currently binging! I tend to only allow myself to watch one episode & limit myself to only that because I will never wanna get up & be productive!

Catch Up On Social Media, YouTube Videos, & Blogging

I'll then catch up on social media which realistically I do throughout the day but there's times where I focus more than others because I'll start getting in the loop of scrolling through social media & I won't wanna get off! I do my scrolling, watch YouTube videos, & start typing up blog posts which I do wanna do a post someday on how I come up with my ideas & where I find my inspiration! 

Take A Drive & Eat A Snack

I typically take my drive out of the house around 3:00pm just because I need to get out!! I do practice social distancing & I never get out of my car out in public if I see a bunch of people around! While I drive around sometimes I'll get my snack out or I'll come home after my drive & eat a snack!

Take A Nap, Relax, & Watch TV for 2 Hours

I'll then take a much needed nap, relax, & take 2 hours to watch some TV & really take it easy! My drive out of the house can be EXHAUSTING!!

Eat Dinner

After I rest, I'll then eat dinner & again this will change everyday! I sometimes eat out & I sometimes eat in!

My Night TV Schedule

Let's face it, I watch A LOT OF TV!! I even have my night TV schedule & if you have cable or Sling, you can follow along with this too!

My Current Night TV Schedule:
Sunday: 7-9 American Idol (ABC)
Monday: 7-9 The Voice (NBC)
Tuesday: Watch A Movie!
Wednesday: 7-8 The Masked Singer (FOX)
Thursday: 7-8 Jersey Shore (MTV) & 9-10 How To Get Away With Murder
Friday: Watch A Movie!
Saturday: Watch A Movie!

Shower & Night Skincare Routine

After I do my whole night TV schedule thing, I go take a shower & get into my night skincare routine! I use the same Mario Badescu cleanser I used in my morning routine & I massage for 3:00-3:30 minutes using my song method! I then wash it off & then I use the thing that saved my face & changed my life which is The Dermalogica Daily Microfoliant! I use the travel size because it's cheaper & it lasts me surprisingly a long time! I put the grains on my face for a minute, leave it on for a minute, & then wash it off in the shower! Fast forward to after my shower, I use the same toner I used in my morning routine & the same moisturizer!

Wind Down & Drink Hot Tea

I can't go to sleep without some sleepy hot tea or chamomile hot tea! I wind down, watch some TV, & relax! After about an hour of that, I then go to brush my teeth & head to bed! I do put on Mario Badescu’s Buffering Lotion (there’s only one kind, I got too lazy to link it lol) & I clip my bangs back for the night!

Right Before I Go To Bed..

This changes every night! If I lay in bed & just scroll through social media, I will NEVER sleep! I either turn on my TV in my room & watch a show I’m familiar with (right now it’s One Tree Hill), listen to some music on low, or I journal! 

That was my consistent & positive quarantine routine! I hope y’all got inspired by this & this will change as Quarantine goes on! I just wanted to get a basic idea of what my routine is like at the moment!
