A Chapter In My Life Has Closed


I started this blog back in April as a way to share my passions for fashion, music, & makeup which are 3 things I absolutely love. When I started this blog I was starting to get back on my feet after going through a rough time in my life & I had no idea what direction I was going to go in my future & to be completely honest I still don't completely know where I'll end up but we'll just go with the flow & whatever happens will happen. 

When I started the blog I was holding a job at Express which in a way inspired me to start blogging & really focus on a career in fashion. I am sadden to announce that I have officially quit the job to pursue more time in my current newest job at Francesca's. Was this a tough decision for me to make? Of course it was. I had felt so much passion in this Express job for a long time & I was so sad to let it go but it was a decision I had to make for myself eventually. 

I'll always be thankful for this Express job & it was such a huge part of my life. I learned so much about the behind the scenes of retail that I would've never learned in my first job. In every job there's of course good times & bad times but this job was a huge stepping stone into moving on from the rough times I was going through not even a month before I accepted the job. I also met some great people at work I'll miss seeing everyday so much.

I also just didn't gain a bunch of knowledge out of the job but I also gained a bunch of cute clothes in my closet that I absolutely love. I'm also going to miss being around the cute clothes everyday as well even though at Francesca's I'm also surrounded by super cute clothes. The picture above was the very first outfit I wore that was head to toe Express & to this day I still love love love this outfit so much it was also my first fashion blog post. 

What I've learned in the past week as I had to make this decision for myself was ALWAYS GO WITH YOUR GUT FEELING. If you ever have a gut feeling about something whether it's a good, bad, or even super risky & uncomfortable please follow your gut. Everything truly happens for a reason. I will continue to blog & share my young adult journey & passions on the blog just this chapter in my life has officially closed. It was fun while it lasted but I'm excited to see what the future has in store for me.
