Influenced - New Home For My Earrings & Back To Reality

Influenced - New Home For My Earrings & Back To Reality

(Earrings are mostly from Francesca's but a few are from Jewel's (local boutique), Altar'd State, & Kendra Scott)

(Container is from The Container Store not sure if it's local or not but the place was in the Friendswood/Texas City area)

So I've been searching for a little home for my earrings for literally months because for the longest time I had them in this little organizer cubby thing in my desk drawer but I started getting so many earrings that the little cubby thing wasn't going to work out for that much longer so I had to go on the search for a new home to showcase my beautiful earrings.

I was able to put most of my earrings on. I have more earrings from high school I chose not to put on here but my earrings date from when I was 18 to now.

When people ask me what my favorite type of jewelry to wear I always say earrings. Whenever I got my ears pierced at 10 it was a life changer for me.

I always knew from when I was younger that I was going to be into bigger earrings. I can remember buying these huge & I mean huge peace sign earrings from Justice at 10 years old & LOVING how big they were!

So there was this movie I was obsessed with as a child called Roxy Hunter (if you know what that is you are a true OG) but she always wore these out of the box huge earrings & I told my mom that someday I was gonna be wearing earrings that big... I think I was true to my words now that we are here 11 years later.

That movie inspired me as a young child to get into blogging because of the layout of the movie's website  (also Read It & Weep & iCarly did too).

I had blogs overtime especially when I was 11-12 years old but I stopped for a long time just because I was too caught up in my middle school/high school world.

To really think about it I have absolutely no memory of what kind of content my first blog was. It was probably about my 4th grade life which probably wasn't that exciting lol!

So anyways! My 4 day vacation is sadly over & I have to go back to the reality of work & tomorrow I start my online class.

I have a short shift today which when you've been in vacation mode isn't a bad idea at all. I also will be wearing new outfits within the next couple of days so make sure to watch in the blog for my new late winter/early spring looks.

It's still pretty cold here but I just had to get something within these spring colors. I have no idea how I feel about the bright yellows & oranges but I'm definitely here for neutrals & forest green.

I'm over this cold weather guys like it was fun whenever it was Christmas time but Christmas is over I'm ready for Spring!!!!

I honestly can't wait to show y'all the fun new stuff I got when I was out of town. I of course stopped by Francesca's & also got fun goodies from Altar'd State, Lush, & Sephora even as well.

I'm excited & nervous all at the same time for this week. I'm really looking forward to what the future has for me & also blogging my journey as well.

I did my Lush toner tabs last night which by the way are so relaxing I highly recommend! Great for the start of the week!

So I'm going to make myself some lunch & relax before I have to go into work but I hope y'all have a nice & positive Tuesday!

8 Years of Content Creating. I haven't celebrated a blogging anniversary in a really long time, but I was looking back on when I started this blog and how long it has been, it absolutely blew my mind. I wish I could tell that lonely & confused 19-year-old me that at almost 28 years old, she is living most of the content creating dream she has always wanted. Thank y'all for being on this ride for 8 years <3 Instagram: @jessicanicoledeleon Podcast: It's A BOP! with Jess on Spotify

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City Hey guys! Today we will be doing a fashion themed post & today's theme is making fall fashion cute but if you live in a southern coastal city where it is still 90 degrees outside. I feel like there is not enough recognition for coastal falls, especially in fashion so today, we are going to get realistic about fall fashion while it is still 90 degrees outside. Neutrals Go with EVERYTHING! No matter if you are doing a tank top and shorts look or even a sweater with jeans (if you risk being sweaty after the fact), neutrals are a GO TO for every season but mostly for fall. Lean towards your black, white, & even like an oatmeal type of neutral colored clothing & focus on those when building your coastal fall wardrobe. Neutral Outfit Inspo from Pinterest Tube Tops with Light Cardigans Whether you are wearing the tube top with shorts or jeans, if you really want to channel that fall look or even if you are going somewhere indoors wher...

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026 Outfit Details: Top: Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts: Nordstrom Hey guys! I know I have been MIA from the blog for a while (most of the year actually) but I went MIA for very good reasons!  2025 has been full of blessings and amazing memories. As we start goal setting for 2026, I want to recap how 2025 became my best year yet and how going into 2026, I am feeling such a fresh mindset and this positive momentum we had in 2025 will in fact continue in 2026. I want to continue to be a positive force within not only myself but also for the people around me as well. 2025 became the year I have been longing for since I stepped into this crazy world of adulthood at 18 years old and that is, working full time in marketing/social media. Within the company I have worked for the past 2 1/2 years, this past June I switched departments from Membership/Recruitment to full on Marketing which if you have been following me for a while has been...
