Hey guys! I'm going to go over a lot today in this post because who knows when the next time I'll be able to post is! I hope y'all had a great Christmas, I know I did! I'll actually be showing y'all some of the stuff I got while I also talk about what my New Years Resolutions are for this year & did I stay true to my resolutions from my New Years Resolution post from last year? You are about to find out all of that right now!

What I Got for Christmas

My sister got me the first 2 presents shown in the first pic which are some BEAUTIFUL Kendra Scott earrings & a BEAUTIFUL Kate Spade wallet! I was super shocked by both presents because I'm known to have a lot of knock off Kendra Scott styled earrings so now that I have some real ones that aren't my studs I got years ago was pretty cool! Another present I got that I wanted to showcase was my BEAUTIFUL new purse from Victoria's Secret! I've really been wanting a quilted purse & when I saw this one I fell in love with it! My mom got me this present! What drew me to this purse was not only the size & pattern but it looks like a Chanel purse (or another way to describe it is that it looks EXPENSIVE)! You best believe I used all of my presents right away! I'll post a picture below of my outfit I wore on Christmas & how I incorporated my new Kendra earrings!

Another fun thing I got for Christmas from my mom was this super cute & comfy tie in the front black top from Express because I needed more black clothing for work!

So here we go again, my annual 2020 New Years Resolution post! I've done this post for the past 2 years & I look forward to doing it every year! 2019 was such a up & down rollercoaster & I am EAGER for the New Year to be here already! Here's just a few resolutions & goals I have for this year & then later, I'm going to react to my resolutions post from last year & see if I stayed true to my resolutions I made!

1. Continuing to move forward!
January 1, 2020 at 12:00am, anything that needs to stay in 2019 will STAY in 2019! I'm not going to go into detail on this but let's just say I need to stop overthinking so intensely over things I can't control. Overthinking is the worst for my mental health & especially in the past year my overthinking has gotten SO BAD!! In 2020, WE ARE NOT GOING TO OVERTHINK EVERY LITTLE THING!

2. Taking action on what I want to do career wise!
This one really has taken me a long time to do! Earlier this year, I decided to do online courses through my local community college & university which was HUGE for me considering the fact I was never a school person & I decided not to do the school thing right out of high school. I took 2 courses in Leadership & Social Media. I've opened up over the past year about how this year really has opened my eyes to start taking action on what career I really want to pursue which is Social Media Marketing! My goal someday is to do social media for my favorite clothing company which now what I'm doing while I wait for that opportunity is I'm building up my resume with a huge variety of retail experiences so I can understand all types of company's strategies! In between that, I'll be taking a few little courses to expand my knowledge in that industry. 2020 is the year I get one step closer to what I wanna pursue career wise!! I'll get there! YOU HEARD IT HERE FIRST!

3. SAVE UP MONEY FOR A NEW CAR!!!!
I've had the same car since I was in high school & let's face it. It's getting old!! I have 2 jobs right now which I'm mainly saving to get a new car so not only because I need the update but with my current car, I can't travel which for me going to concerts out of town, I've had to depend on people for rides there but for once I WANT TO TAKE THE CAR OUT OF TOWN FOR CONCERT ROAD TRIPS! My goal is by Summer 2019 (just in time for summer concerts & tour season), that I'll have a brand new car I can travel in!

4. Eating more healthy!
I swear I put this on my list EVERY YEAR & I still catch myself at Chick Fil A twice a week! But seriously, it needs to stop! I was so stressed for a huge time period which caused me to gain a little weight & that's because my eating habits got more poor which in 2020, THAT'S NOT HAPPENING AGAIN! We are eating small portions & healthier choices in 2020!

5. Having a consistent workout schedule!
With how much my life has changed this year, my workout routine was all over the place! I went from having the most consistent workout routine to barely working out at all! Earlier in the year, I had to take a month break from working out at the gym because of my Heart Cath procedure & then shortly after that I switched jobs (twice) & I never since the Cath got back to a consistent schedule so in 2020, I have a more consistent work schedule & I already have a game plan of when I'm going to the gym so hopefully in 2020 you'll see a more fit me!

6. Travel as much as I can!
I love travelling & even if it's a day road trip to San Antonio, IT COUNTS! Whether I'm travelling for a concert which most of my trips are geared towards that or if I'm visiting family, I love discovering new things & being in a different city for once! My goal is at least one concert a month & one road trip a month! I almost hit that goal last year but I missed 2 months sadly!

7. Get even closer to God!
I can always get closer to God! My goal is to go to church consistently & maybe even get involved in the church! I could always use some more God in my life!

8. Improve my blogging!
I will be going into my 3rd year of blogging next year which is crazy to think I'm still here doing this but with the field I want to be in, keeping up to date in my own blog is a huge advantage! I do this blog strictly as a hobby (I wished it was my career) & I know I'll be super busy next year juggling 2 jobs, attending shows, & staying active in my social life. I will continue to give y'all good content!

Now did I stay true to my 2019 resolutions??

Now keep in mind my life was totally different this time last year so my goals were catered to what I was doing at the time!

My first resolution was to find more time for relaxation which I've gotten a lot better at than I was that time last year. It's been up & down though but I still find time to relax & take it easy because if I didn't, I would go INSANE! There's times where I have to say no to plans simply because I am physically TOO EXHAUSTED!

My second resolution was to be bold & try new things which definitely happened this year as I left a job I was at for 2 years & pursued other job paths! I've definitely grown a lot from changing jobs & mentally it's been beneficial for me & has opened my eyes to so much! Without having a job I was completely miserable in for a month, I would have never been so motivated to pursue social media marketing like I am now because life's too short, chase your dreams!

Resolutions 3-6 are all things I can simply still work on like eating healthier, working out more, & organization. My organizing has gotten a little better but it can always improve! The reason I didn't put that on my resolutions this year was because it isn't a huge issue in my life! I keep myself pretty organized most of the time!

Resolution #7 was to travel more & I did indeed travel a lot & go on a lot of road trips this year so that's something to be proud of & I want to do it all over again in 2020!

Resolution #8 was to improve the blog more & I definitely have improved in ways catering to how my life is now. My blog is forever changing from what it was a year ago & it will continue to change! I think now I'm more organized with my content & I plan my content in advanced. Especially in the first year I started blogging, I never planned my content & even a lot in 2018 I was horrible at planning my content but now that I plan in advanced, it's been so much easier & makes blogging something I look forward to rather than something I'm trying to force!

So that was today's post! I don't know if I'll post again before the year ends (because I haven't planned my next post) but if I don't, HAPPY NEW YEARS! Stay safe out there!

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City Hey guys! Today we will be doing a fashion themed post & today's theme is making fall fashion cute but if you live in a southern coastal city where it is still 90 degrees outside. I feel like there is not enough recognition for coastal falls, especially in fashion so today, we are going to get realistic about fall fashion while it is still 90 degrees outside. Neutrals Go with EVERYTHING! No matter if you are doing a tank top and shorts look or even a sweater with jeans (if you risk being sweaty after the fact), neutrals are a GO TO for every season but mostly for fall. Lean towards your black, white, & even like an oatmeal type of neutral colored clothing & focus on those when building your coastal fall wardrobe. How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026 Outfit Details: Top: Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts: Nordstrom Hey guys! I know I have been MIA from the blog for a while (most of the year actually) but I went MIA for very good reasons!  2025 has been full of blessings and amazing memories. As we start goal setting for 2026, I want to recap how 2025 became my best year yet and how going into 2026, I am feeling such a fresh mindset and this positive momentum we had in 2025 will in fact continue in 2026. I want to continue to be a positive force within not only myself but also for the people around me as well. 2025 became the year I have been longing for since I stepped into this crazy world of adulthood at 18 years old and that is, working full time in marketing/social media. Within the company I have worked for the past 2 1/2 years, this past June I switched departments from Membership/Recruitment to full on Marketing which if you have been following me for a while has been...
