Quarantine Life Update

Quarantine Life Update

Hey guys! I just wanted to do a little post about how Quarantine life has been & what I've been doing in my downtime! This pic of me above has me with my favorite Starbucks drink which is a Sweetened Green Tea Lemonade on one of my little daily outings! I've been staying at home for the most part but everyday I try to take a drive & go to scenic places around my city like downtown, local parks, & more!

I stay in my car because even going outside to a empty park gives me so much anxiety! Long story short, I'm a high risk for the Coronavirus due to my heart condition so I've been EXTREMELY cautious when going on my outings & I avoid HEB at all costs! My heart goes out to essential workers, STAY SAFE GUYS!!

I'm not going to go in details about all of the stress that's been hitting me lately but I'm not going to lie, these times have been SUPER rough on me mentally! I try not to think super hard about it & I focus on my 30 Day Workout Challenge (which I'm currently on Day 20 & I've made AMAZING progress which you'll see soon) & really just relaxing, listening to a lot of music, watching a lot of TV, & leaning on to God more than ever!

This Quarantine has made me A LOT more humble & appreciative of life! I'm not going to lie, right before everything started getting bad I wasn't counting my blessings as much as I should have & I think God made me realize that I should be more appreciative of going to work, going out with friends, & even dining in at a resturaunt!

Now, I'd do ANYTHING to dine in at a restaurant & go out with my friends! I've also been missing concerts so much lately! Fun fact: I was suppose to be at a concert tonight which was my favorite Christian music tour Hits Deep which got postponed in August but when I found out it wasn't happening now I nearly sobbed because during these hard times, Christian music truly heals!

I'm thankful I have Spotify where I can listen to all of my favorite songs & so many celebrities have been doing live stream concerts which truly has gotten me through these rough times! Last night, I was watching my favorite Christian band's For King & Country's live stream concert & I was moved to tears! I am so proud to be a Christian & I'll never hide that from anyone!

So, I'm going to end the post here but stay tuned for more posts coming soon!

STAY HOME, STAY SAFE, & PRACTICE SOCIAL DISTANCING!!!

8 Years of Content Creating. I haven't celebrated a blogging anniversary in a really long time, but I was looking back on when I started this blog and how long it has been, it absolutely blew my mind. I wish I could tell that lonely & confused 19-year-old me that at almost 28 years old, she is living most of the content creating dream she has always wanted. Thank y'all for being on this ride for 8 years <3 Instagram: @jessicanicoledeleon Podcast: It's A BOP! with Jess on Spotify

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City Hey guys! Today we will be doing a fashion themed post & today's theme is making fall fashion cute but if you live in a southern coastal city where it is still 90 degrees outside. I feel like there is not enough recognition for coastal falls, especially in fashion so today, we are going to get realistic about fall fashion while it is still 90 degrees outside. Neutrals Go with EVERYTHING! No matter if you are doing a tank top and shorts look or even a sweater with jeans (if you risk being sweaty after the fact), neutrals are a GO TO for every season but mostly for fall. Lean towards your black, white, & even like an oatmeal type of neutral colored clothing & focus on those when building your coastal fall wardrobe. How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026 Outfit Details: Top: Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts: Nordstrom Hey guys! I know I have been MIA from the blog for a while (most of the year actually) but I went MIA for very good reasons!  2025 has been full of blessings and amazing memories. As we start goal setting for 2026, I want to recap how 2025 became my best year yet and how going into 2026, I am feeling such a fresh mindset and this positive momentum we had in 2025 will in fact continue in 2026. I want to continue to be a positive force within not only myself but also for the people around me as well. 2025 became the year I have been longing for since I stepped into this crazy world of adulthood at 18 years old and that is, working full time in marketing/social media. Within the company I have worked for the past 2 1/2 years, this past June I switched departments from Membership/Recruitment to full on Marketing which if you have been following me for a while has been...
