April 2020.

April 2020.

Hey guys! What strange times these are right?? Everything is changing within the matter of seconds & if y'all don't know how to handle the stress of it, it's ok neither do I! I don't think anyone was prepared for these times & to be isolated from everyday life for a whole other month! The pic above is me with my favorite Eskimo Hut drink which is their Blue Hawaiian cause let's face it, we all need a taste of our favorite drink!

This month is 3 years since I first started blogging & wow what a 3 years it's been! I never thought my 3 year anniversary post would be like this but I would like to thank those who have been viewing this ever changing blog over the years, I do appreciate y'all!

Today is also a super important anniversary! It's officially been a year since my last heart cath which was a super stressful time in my life just as stressful as these times we are in right now! 1 year later, I am SUPER blessed & thankful to say I am healthier than I've ever been before & what got me through that difficult time was the overwhelming support I had from my family & friends! Click here to see the entire post I did a year ago about my Heart Cath journey!

April is going to be a SUPER rough month but I'm trusting in God & trying to stay strong during all of this! I want so badly to go back to work, live everyday life, eat at my favorite restaurant, & attend concerts! I'VE BEEN MISSING CONCERTS SO MUCH LATELY! Concerts make me so happy & the fact people can't even do that CRUSHES me!

During this time, I have done a TON of binge watching (I just finished Tiger King on Netflix & WOAH THAT WAS INSANE), listening to new music (Thank you, Dua Lipa for Future Nostalgia! It's truly a masterpiece!), & working out making myself a stronger me! I am ALMOST done with my 30 day workout challenge & even after the workout challenge, I am more motivated than ever to stay fit!

It's been super hard to overly blog during this time since most of my posts were about the adventures I went on, my latest purchases in fashion, & concert tips/experiences but financially I'm holding on to EVERY SINGLE PENNY! I wish I could afford to binge online shop.. I do miss shopping a lot but why am I buying clothes when I've been wearing t-shirts & Nike shorts everyday??

Let's pray we get through this difficult month & that we can go back to doing everyday normal activity & PLEASE STAY SAFE, SOCIAL DISTANCE, & STAY HOME!!!!!!

8 Years of Content Creating. I haven't celebrated a blogging anniversary in a really long time, but I was looking back on when I started this blog and how long it has been, it absolutely blew my mind. I wish I could tell that lonely & confused 19-year-old me that at almost 28 years old, she is living most of the content creating dream she has always wanted. Thank y'all for being on this ride for 8 years <3 Instagram: @jessicanicoledeleon Podcast: It's A BOP! with Jess on Spotify

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City Hey guys! Today we will be doing a fashion themed post & today's theme is making fall fashion cute but if you live in a southern coastal city where it is still 90 degrees outside. I feel like there is not enough recognition for coastal falls, especially in fashion so today, we are going to get realistic about fall fashion while it is still 90 degrees outside. Neutrals Go with EVERYTHING! No matter if you are doing a tank top and shorts look or even a sweater with jeans (if you risk being sweaty after the fact), neutrals are a GO TO for every season but mostly for fall. Lean towards your black, white, & even like an oatmeal type of neutral colored clothing & focus on those when building your coastal fall wardrobe. Neutral Outfit Inspo from Pinterest Tube Tops with Light Cardigans Whether you are wearing the tube top with shorts or jeans, if you really want to channel that fall look or even if you are going somewhere indoors wher...

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026 Outfit Details: Top: Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts: Nordstrom Hey guys! I know I have been MIA from the blog for a while (most of the year actually) but I went MIA for very good reasons!  2025 has been full of blessings and amazing memories. As we start goal setting for 2026, I want to recap how 2025 became my best year yet and how going into 2026, I am feeling such a fresh mindset and this positive momentum we had in 2025 will in fact continue in 2026. I want to continue to be a positive force within not only myself but also for the people around me as well. 2025 became the year I have been longing for since I stepped into this crazy world of adulthood at 18 years old and that is, working full time in marketing/social media. Within the company I have worked for the past 2 1/2 years, this past June I switched departments from Membership/Recruitment to full on Marketing which if you have been following me for a while has been...
