My First (Virtual) Concert Since the Pandemic!

My First (Virtual) Concert Since the Pandemic!

I paid ONLY $2 to see Emblem3 perform a virtual concert online this past Thursday & every bit of that $2 was WORTH IT! For the price, you got such a amazing quality show! I've loved Emblem3 since 2012 when they were on X-Factor & have followed through their career ever since. It was so much fun seeing them perform old songs & even some new songs too!

I got glammed up for the event (I've barely put on makeup this whole pandemic so the fact I put some on was a miracle LOL). My top is from Pacsun & you can't see the earrings well but I got my earrings from a local boutique called Jewels!

I got some Eskimo Hut to drink while I enjoyed the show (because if I was attending a real show, you best believe I'd be running to the bar at the venue LOL)! If you don't know what Eskimo Hut is, it's mainly based in Texas but it's drive thru alcohol which has been a life saver during the pandemic & quarantine! My go to flavors are the Blue Hawaiian & the Strawberry Margarita (which both are shown above)!

If you don't know me already or don't read this blog, I am a HUGE concert goer so this pandemic has been rough because like many people, I had HUGE plans for summer! I was originally on planning 7 different concerts across Texas this summer but due to COVID19 most of them got either cancelled or postponed to next year (2021 is going to be MY YEAR I SWEAR HAHA)!

If you are a big concert goer like me, virtual concerts truly are the way to go! Emblem3's was so high quality & I wish more artists would do what Emblem3 did with shows this summer! Even looking up concert vlogs or full concerts on YouTube have filled my void. I know it's not the same but we got to make the most of our situations & that's why I've really appreciated when artists take the time to do virtual shows & continue to release new music during these uncertain times! Someday.. we'll all be back at shows!

I haven't celebrated a blogging anniversary in a really long time, but I was looking back on when I started this blog and how long it has been, it absolutely blew my mind. I wish I could tell that lonely & confused 19-year-old me that at almost 28 years old, she is living most of the content creating dream she has always wanted. Thank y'all for being on this ride for 8 years <3 Instagram: @jessicanicoledeleon Podcast: It's A BOP! with Jess on Spotify

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City Hey guys! Today we will be doing a fashion themed post & today's theme is making fall fashion cute but if you live in a southern coastal city where it is still 90 degrees outside. I feel like there is not enough recognition for coastal falls, especially in fashion so today, we are going to get realistic about fall fashion while it is still 90 degrees outside. Neutrals Go with EVERYTHING! No matter if you are doing a tank top and shorts look or even a sweater with jeans (if you risk being sweaty after the fact), neutrals are a GO TO for every season but mostly for fall. Lean towards your black, white, & even like an oatmeal type of neutral colored clothing & focus on those when building your coastal fall wardrobe. How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026 Outfit Details: Top: Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts: Nordstrom Hey guys! I know I have been MIA from the blog for a while (most of the year actually) but I went MIA for very good reasons!  2025 has been full of blessings and amazing memories. As we start goal setting for 2026, I want to recap how 2025 became my best year yet and how going into 2026, I am feeling such a fresh mindset and this positive momentum we had in 2025 will in fact continue in 2026. I want to continue to be a positive force within not only myself but also for the people around me as well. 2025 became the year I have been longing for since I stepped into this crazy world of adulthood at 18 years old and that is, working full time in marketing/social media. Within the company I have worked for the past 2 1/2 years, this past June I switched departments from Membership/Recruitment to full on Marketing which if you have been following me for a while has been...
