Things You NEED To Do - 11/3/2020

Hey guys! It's November 3, 2020 AKA Election Day! It would be stupid of me not to do today's post all about things you NEED to do like ASAP! After you read this post, if you haven't done anything I'm about to tell you to do, DO IT ASAP! This is URGENT! YOUR VOICE MATTERS MORE THAN EVER THIS ELECTION DAY!

Things You NEED To Do ASAP!!!

  • GO OUT & VOTE IF YOU HAVE NOT ALREADY!!! If you are registered to vote, PLEASE DON'T LET THIS DAY GO BY WITHOUT GOING TO A VOTING POLL!
  • "I don't know where to vote". I don't care whether you live in the middle of nowhere or in the middle of a city, there's a polling place near you! Click here to find a poll near you!
  • "I don't have a ride to the polls". Uber & Lyft are both offering discount codes on your ride to & from the polls! Check out Uber & Lyft for more info (no, this is not sponsored)!
  • "My voice won't matter". Yes it will! What you NEED to do is VOTE because EVERY VOTE COUNTS!!
  • "When do I turn in my mail in ballot?" NOW! Go wherever you need to go & turn it in NOW!
  • In Texas you can't register to vote on Election Day but if you live in a state where you can register to vote on Election Day, PLEASE REGISTER TO VOTE!!!
  • Last but not least, tell everyone you know to go out & vote! Post it on social media & make your voice be heard! Don't let your guards down this election!!

I early voted the second day early voting was available in my state & made sure my voice was heard & I want y'all to do the same!

Also remember we are still in the middle of a pandemic so if you are going out to the polls today, wear a mask & practice social distancing! Now after you read this post, I will say it one more time if you haven't done it already because I feel like I need to repeat myself 20000 times because that's how important this election is, GO OUT & VOTE!

8 Years of Content Creating. I haven't celebrated a blogging anniversary in a really long time, but I was looking back on when I started this blog and how long it has been, it absolutely blew my mind. I wish I could tell that lonely & confused 19-year-old me that at almost 28 years old, she is living most of the content creating dream she has always wanted. Thank y'all for being on this ride for 8 years <3 Instagram: @jessicanicoledeleon Podcast: It's A BOP! with Jess on Spotify

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City Hey guys! Today we will be doing a fashion themed post & today's theme is making fall fashion cute but if you live in a southern coastal city where it is still 90 degrees outside. I feel like there is not enough recognition for coastal falls, especially in fashion so today, we are going to get realistic about fall fashion while it is still 90 degrees outside. Neutrals Go with EVERYTHING! No matter if you are doing a tank top and shorts look or even a sweater with jeans (if you risk being sweaty after the fact), neutrals are a GO TO for every season but mostly for fall. Lean towards your black, white, & even like an oatmeal type of neutral colored clothing & focus on those when building your coastal fall wardrobe. How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026 Outfit Details: Top: Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts: Nordstrom Hey guys! I know I have been MIA from the blog for a while (most of the year actually) but I went MIA for very good reasons!  2025 has been full of blessings and amazing memories. As we start goal setting for 2026, I want to recap how 2025 became my best year yet and how going into 2026, I am feeling such a fresh mindset and this positive momentum we had in 2025 will in fact continue in 2026. I want to continue to be a positive force within not only myself but also for the people around me as well. 2025 became the year I have been longing for since I stepped into this crazy world of adulthood at 18 years old and that is, working full time in marketing/social media. Within the company I have worked for the past 2 1/2 years, this past June I switched departments from Membership/Recruitment to full on Marketing which if you have been following me for a while has been...
