My musictaste.space Experience: Custom Made Playlists for My Family & Best Friends!


Hey guys! I discovered a new way to make Spotify playlists & I just had to share the results on my blog. In the past, I've reacted to my Stats for Spotify Results, Custom Made Spotify Playlists, & now this new website I discovered called musictaste.space! This website enables you to connect with friends & share your common music interests!

You first share your musictaste.space link to your social media accounts (you can share on Facebook, Twitter, & Snapchat)! You have to have a Spotify account in order to do this by the way! It then syncs your account & your friend's account. 

Here are where the results come in....

Results Share:

- Your top artist in common
-Your top track in common
-The percentage of listened artists you have in common
-Tracks you have in common (long, medium, & short term)
-Genres in common
-A Custom Made Playlist made exclusively on musictaste.space

The thing I loved the most was the custom made playlist so I'd thought I'd share the playlists I have saved that I synced with my mom, sister, & my 2 best friends Mari & Mady!

These results were super interesting! It shows some of your top tracks & the person you synced with's top tracks by artists y'all have in common! It's the most random group of songs ever but honestly, I am pleased with every playlist I received!

Playlist #1: My Mom
A lot of me & my mom's playlist was mostly Christian artists we have in common. Most of the playlist was For King & Country & TobyMac which are honestly the 2 Christian artists I listen to the most because it's not too traditional & I'm not a traditional person what so ever!

We also share other artists in common like one artist WE LOVE together is H.E.R. who is a R&B artist! 

The MOST RANDOM Harry Styles songs came up! I would have thought She would have been on there because that's our favorite song from Fine Line but our playlist decided to put Treat People with Kindness & Sunflower Vol. 6.

It was also strange how a bunch of Ariana Grande came up on our playlist considering out of the both of us I listen to her way more but you know what? TASTE. That's all I can say! I loved the Ari songs that were on our playlist (Positions & My Hair).

Playlist #2: My Sister
This playlist was SO INTERESTING! We don't overly talk about music but the times we do we seem to have a ton in common! We listen to a bunch of today's pop & 90s/early 2000s pop & most of this playlist entailed just that!

Playlist #3: My Best Friend Mady
If you don't know, Mady has been my best friend since we were 5 & music is a HUGE part of our friendship as we've gone to so many concerts together & just love talking about music. Honestly, this playlist was EVERYTHING & fit the both of our personalities PERFECTLY!

Her most played songs & my most played songs that we don't normally listen to together came up & it gave me such great new music recommendations!

Playlist #4: My Best Friend Mari
Another best friend of mine which a huge part of our friendship is music & again, this playlist suited the both of our music tastes SO PERFECTLY!
