Hey guys!! This post is a week overdue but it's finally here! If you don't follow me on social media or don't listen to my podcast, I went to my VERY FIRST CONCERT OF 2021 & it was my first concert in over a year! I still can't believe I got to experience a live show again & I got to do it in a safe socially distanced environment!

If you haven't listened to the latest episode of, "It's A BOP! with Jess" I give tips & share my experience of the socially distanced concert experience in my most recent episode!

If you don't want to read this little post about the show & you want to hear more detailed audio then click here to listen to the episode!

If you don't want to listen to the episode then... this post is just a short summary of the episode HAHA! Plus, I really need to have this included in my blog!

So I saw TobyMac for my 5th time & my 2nd time in Corpus! Usually, I travel out of town to see him for the Hits Deep Tour but when I found out he was coming to Corpus, I knew I had to go!! I wore my  mask the entire show & we had  real spaced out tables which was the socially distanced seating! I felt super safe about the situation & I did a ton of research before buying tickets!

It was kind of a full circle because before lockdown last year, my next show was suppose to be the Hits Deep Tour & then 2020 happened. The fact my first show back was a TobyMac show was a crazy feeling!

The thing I missed the most last year was being at shows because going to concerts basically is my personality trait.

Usually before any one of his shows, I look up a setlist on a setlist website or I search a Spotify playlist of the setlist but for some odd reason, no one had posted a setlist so this was really the first show of his in a while that I was surprised by the setlist.

My favorite part was when he performed his newest release which I had never heard live. Overall me & my mom had a BLAST!

I thought I was going to get emotional during or before the show but really after the show is when that, "I can't believe I'm at a concert" emotion came in!

The atmosphere of the show was so different from anything I've seen of his & in general. I would definitely go to another concert in this format again!

Of course, I go more into detail on my podcast about everything but y'all... I can't wait for my next concert!

CONCERT JESS IS BACK!!!!

I haven't celebrated a blogging anniversary in a really long time, but I was looking back on when I started this blog and how long it has been, it absolutely blew my mind. I wish I could tell that lonely & confused 19-year-old me that at almost 28 years old, she is living most of the content creating dream she has always wanted. Thank y'all for being on this ride for 8 years <3 Instagram: @jessicanicoledeleon Podcast: It's A BOP! with Jess on Spotify

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City Hey guys! Today we will be doing a fashion themed post & today's theme is making fall fashion cute but if you live in a southern coastal city where it is still 90 degrees outside. I feel like there is not enough recognition for coastal falls, especially in fashion so today, we are going to get realistic about fall fashion while it is still 90 degrees outside. Neutrals Go with EVERYTHING! No matter if you are doing a tank top and shorts look or even a sweater with jeans (if you risk being sweaty after the fact), neutrals are a GO TO for every season but mostly for fall. Lean towards your black, white, & even like an oatmeal type of neutral colored clothing & focus on those when building your coastal fall wardrobe. Neutral Outfit Inspo from Pinterest Tube Tops with Light Cardigans Whether you are wearing the tube top with shorts or jeans, if you really want to channel that fall look or even if you are going somewhere indoors wher...

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026 Outfit Details: Top: Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts: Nordstrom Hey guys! I know I have been MIA from the blog for a while (most of the year actually) but I went MIA for very good reasons!  2025 has been full of blessings and amazing memories. As we start goal setting for 2026, I want to recap how 2025 became my best year yet and how going into 2026, I am feeling such a fresh mindset and this positive momentum we had in 2025 will in fact continue in 2026. I want to continue to be a positive force within not only myself but also for the people around me as well. 2025 became the year I have been longing for since I stepped into this crazy world of adulthood at 18 years old and that is, working full time in marketing/social media. Within the company I have worked for the past 2 1/2 years, this past June I switched departments from Membership/Recruitment to full on Marketing which if you have been following me for a while has been...
