Skincare Journey Update 2020

Skincare Journey Update 2020

I haven't done a skincare journey update video in a super long time but I just received my Mario Badescu order in the mail which I'll explain to y'all shortly why I ordered from their website in a second! From the very first day I started my blog, I wanted my skincare journey to be kind of my platform for the beauty side of my blog & over the years as my skin has gotten better my beauty posts have been less & less.

So I never really had bad acne or breakouts till I was a senior in high school & even at that it was just a big super noticeable pimple & then it would go away after a week of acne treatment then the year after I graduated high school, I went through the worst stress of my life & was pretty much in shock over the transition from high school to the real world that my stress showed in my face & my break outs were at its worse!

After many skincare routines over a year ago, I finally found my skincare routine that worked for my face! I use mostly Mario Badescu cleansers & toners. The Mario Badescu Special Cleansing Lotion C was one of the products that changed my skin! I recently found out that they are probably going to discontinue the product when I couldn't find it at my Ulta store but thankfully they had it on their website!

What was super cool when I ordered on their actual website is the fact they give you the option of 3 types of samples you want to try which I found super cool because even though I've got my main skincare routine under control, I'm always down to try new products. Of course I'm extremely cautious & I have a real good idea on what works & what doesn't!

I chose my samples to be the seaweed night cream, the hydrating hand cream, & the oil free moisturizer! All of these products sounded super interesting & I'm maybe thinking about doing a separate post on how all 3 of these products turned out for me!

Above is the current state of my face! Of course, those scars are hard for them to go away but I am super proud of how far I've come compared to how my skin was 2 years ago! Trust the process! You'll get to loving your skin someday!
