What Gets Me Through The Work Week...

What Gets Me Through The Work Week...

Hey guys! I know I look ABSOLUTELY exhausted in the picture above but today I finally have a day off! If y'all haven't been reading my blog recently, I did go back to work & I expressed when I did my 5 Days of Meditation, Relaxation, & More! challenge that going back has been really hard physically & mentally. Update though! I'm still absolutely EXHAUSTED but my mind is a lot more at peace definitely because of doing the challenge & a few other things I'm about to explain! I hope y'all enjoy this post & if y'all have any tips on what gets you through the work week & keeps you mind at peace ALWAYS LET ME KNOW!

#1: Iced Coffee

2020 has turned me into an absolute coffee addict. I use to drink coffee before but now, I don't know what it is but if I don't have coffee in my day I will literally be a zombie. I tend to make iced coffee at my house but in the picture above I did grab some Chick Fil A Vanilla Coffee which lowkey guys, I highly recommend! It taste like a Smore lowkey HAHA!

#2: Sweet Treats

If y'all were coming on this blog for a healthy diet, just leave now. I have such a sweet tooth!! Again, I will be talking about something from Chick Fil A which is their brownies. I give this brownie a 1000000/10. I highly recommend.

#3: Let Me Just Explain...

I've been wanting to do a whole entire post on what I'm about to explain to you because this has truly been life changing but then I decided I should just explain now in this post. So about a month ago, my sister suggested to me Ashwagandha.

Ashwagandha is a medical herb that is used mostly to manage stress & let's face it, 2020 has had A LOT of stress. You can get them in pills or what I do is I buy the droppers that are in the pic above & what I do is that every night before I go to bed I make myself a glass of iced water & add about 2-3 drops of Ashwagandha. I then stir the drops into the water & drink one glass a night.

At first, I was SO SCARED to know what it will taste like but it actually isn't too horrible. Honestly, the taste could be worse but it's manageable.

I have noticed A HUGE difference in my everyday life from taking Ashwagandha & I feel this huge weight lifted off my shoulder. I feel so much more calm & I wouldn't say relaxed quite yet because no matter what, I'll always feel FREAKING EXHAUSTED but if you are going through a ton of stress from this year alone, I highly recommend Ashwagandha. You can get the pills or the droppers at your local grocery store & vitamin shops.

It doesn't only help manage stress but can also reduce blood sugar levels, reduce anxiety, reduce symptoms of depression, & the good news is, it's safe for most people but I would definitely do my research on it before getting it.

Personally for me with a heart condition, I can take it & feel fine but I know everyone reacts to things differently! If you end up trying it & loving it comment down below & let me know because truly during the work week, this has been a GAME CHANGER to not feeling so stressed out all of the time! Have a blessed day & stay safe!

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026 Outfit Details: Top: Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts: Nordstrom Hey guys! I know I have been MIA from the blog for a while (most of the year actually) but I went MIA for very good reasons!  2025 has been full of blessings and amazing memories. As we start goal setting for 2026, I want to recap how 2025 became my best year yet and how going into 2026, I am feeling such a fresh mindset and this positive momentum we had in 2025 will in fact continue in 2026. I want to continue to be a positive force within not only myself but also for the people around me as well. 2025 became the year I have been longing for since I stepped into this crazy world of adulthood at 18 years old and that is, working full time in marketing/social media. Within the company I have worked for the past 2 1/2 years, this past June I switched departments from Membership/Recruitment to full on Marketing which if you have been following me for a while has been...
