Yes, I Have Discovered I Love Matte Foundations

The picture above is a selfie I took the other day after one of the first times I used this new L'Oreal Pro-Matte Foundation.

This foundation is soooo affordable comparing to the foundation I use to use. You can literally get this foundation for around 13 dollars at your local drug store.

The picture above was the foundation I use to use & love (still love) for many years. It's the Urban Decay Naked Skin foundation. I've explained almost way too many times in my past blog posts so if you are wondering the specific type I've shared the link a couple of times. Just click or tap the label on the bottom of my post called Makeup & you can go through & find it!

The Urban Decay foundation was amazing for my winter color but unfortunately I'm out in the sun too much to continue to wear it!

I tan very very easy which I am very blessed for that because people literally envy me for it!! I started to notice my foundation color needed to change because I was of course getting more tan & honestly with my budget I can't always afford to buy my super expensive foundation so it was about time I finally switched to drug store brand foundation for budget purposes.

The pic above is me with the new foundation I'm starting to use & honestly as much as I love my Urban Decay foundation for my winter color I can definitely see a difference in my skin from using this foundation. I don't break out as badly as I use to & the L'Oreal foundation is a hell lot better to blend plus I'm so in love with my tan right now anything to bring out my tan is a winner in my book!

I was really curious to know when I started using the foundation how it was going to do on my skin after it's all applied since I've never used a matte foundation before & let me tell y'all something I LOVE MATTE FOUNDATION!! I already love matte eye shadows & lipsticks so of course it doesn't shock me I love this so much.

I feel so confident with my skin right now!!

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City Hey guys! Today we will be doing a fashion themed post & today's theme is making fall fashion cute but if you live in a southern coastal city where it is still 90 degrees outside. I feel like there is not enough recognition for coastal falls, especially in fashion so today, we are going to get realistic about fall fashion while it is still 90 degrees outside. Neutrals Go with EVERYTHING! No matter if you are doing a tank top and shorts look or even a sweater with jeans (if you risk being sweaty after the fact), neutrals are a GO TO for every season but mostly for fall. Lean towards your black, white, & even like an oatmeal type of neutral colored clothing & focus on those when building your coastal fall wardrobe. How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026 Outfit Details: Top: Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts: Nordstrom Hey guys! I know I have been MIA from the blog for a while (most of the year actually) but I went MIA for very good reasons!  2025 has been full of blessings and amazing memories. As we start goal setting for 2026, I want to recap how 2025 became my best year yet and how going into 2026, I am feeling such a fresh mindset and this positive momentum we had in 2025 will in fact continue in 2026. I want to continue to be a positive force within not only myself but also for the people around me as well. 2025 became the year I have been longing for since I stepped into this crazy world of adulthood at 18 years old and that is, working full time in marketing/social media. Within the company I have worked for the past 2 1/2 years, this past June I switched departments from Membership/Recruitment to full on Marketing which if you have been following me for a while has been...
