I FINALLY GOT A BRAND NEW CAR!!!

Hey guys! First of all, HAPPY FREAKING SEPTEMBER!!! How is it already September?? Life is honestly freaking crazy. The good news is, we are ONE MONTH CLOSER TO 2021 (THANK GOD)!!! Today's post is kind of life update post because if you have been following my blog within the past week... A LOT HAS HAPPENED!!

So long story short, my car I had for 5 years broke down & it's still in the shop AS WE SPEAK! If you want to truly know the full story just check out my most recent posts from the past week. There's like 3 posts explaining the entire situation & linking all of them would take a lot of time so if you are truly interested in knowing the full story you can look for those posts! 

ANYWAYS!!! 

So we pretty much knew all week that my car was going to be in the shop for a while because the part to my old car that I needed is back ordered & it was going to take a while for the part to come in & without a car I was going FREAKING CRAZY!! I was so stressed about everything & I was OVER IT! 

We started our car shopping on Friday & we already did our research in advanced on what type of cars I wanted to look at! I had a pretty tight budget so I didn't have a ton of options. I was so over my old car situation that I was willing to look at every option possible!!!

So I test drove a total of 2 cars (I know that sounds insane)!! I test drove a 2019 Ford Fiesta & a 2017 Nissan Versa. I drove the Fiesta first & I already was SUPER comfortable in the car & it reminded me a lot of my old car which my old car was a 2010 Ford Focus & even though my old car was a older car, I was so use to the operation of just a Ford in general! 

The main features I was looking for was Bluetooth because I love listening to music in the car & I was sick & tired of that aux life! A back up camera because I have a small neck & a back up camera when reversing would just make life a lot easier. And then, I was looking for comfort & a car I could travel out of town with because my old car was just a in town car. It was so old & already had so many issues that even taking it on the freeway was ROUGH so yeah, I didn't want those limitations anymore. I'm trying to go on many road trips in 2021 with my friends (hopefully)!!

Anyways, this Ford Fiesta had it all! The only con I had about it was the color! I wasn't originally looking for a white car because I didn't want it to get it dirty but if I had to choose to drive a white or black car, I would definitely drive the white car. In South Texas, I could NEVER do a black car because my car would just be so hot & I'm just not down to sweat in my car.

The 2nd car I drove was the Versa. My sister had a Versa years ago & it was a good car for her but for me, there were a lot of cons about it but there again, I was really trying to work with the options I had! I drove it & immediately I didn't feel that connection that I had with the Fiesta. Don't get me wrong the Versa was a nice car, but it would just take me a while to get use to & the car was a little bigger than what I'm use to!

I knew from the first time I saw the Fiesta that this was going to be my next car. When I was in it, I was already super comfortable with it & I got use to it SO FAST even during the test drive. It was the first car I test drove so I felt hesitant loving my first choice & it wouldn't have been right just to buy it the first day I saw it. 

I slept on it & honestly guys, buying a car is super overwhelming! There's so much money that goes into it & I haven't spent this much money on something ever in my life. For my privacy, I won't go into details on how much I spent on my car or how many miles I got it for because frankly it's no one's business plus I don't want to openly talk about my finances with y'all. Let's just say though, it was a REALLY GOOD DEAL that I wasn't finding anywhere else when I did my research online!

The next day, I woke up knowing I was going get this Fiesta today! Of course, I wanted to test drive it one more time to be certain & it was a for sure yes from me & my bank account! I did not want to walk away from this car, this deal, & risk someone else getting this car! I LOVED IT THAT MUCH! I was super surprised with myself I ended up going with the color I swore to everyone I wasn't going to get but hey, if it's meant to be! 

That's the story guys of how me & my BABY 2019 Ford Fiesta met!! I LOVE MY CAR SO MUCH & I can't wait to travel with it & all of that fun stuff!

I'm super blessed with this car!!
