So today was the day I started my first day of online classes which if you haven't seen my most recent posts is a huge risk taker for me but I'm really proud of how things went today. I was super nervous literally all morning because I hadn't been in a school setting in a while so I had 0 idea of what to expect.
I had my laptop ready, my planner, & notebook out ready for this & whenever I logged in it truly hit me how big of a deal this actually was.
So literally right away they had a pre-test & I was like WOAH THEY REALLY ALREADY STARTING WITH THESE TESTS!
That made me so much more nervous but the pre-test was a "how much do you really know about leadership" test which I am a Sales Lead so I knew most of the information already.
I didn't do too bad. The questions I did miss were a lot of really descriptive verbiage that my job would have never explained it in that way!
So the lesson plan was 5 chapters long which when I first saw how lengthy they were YA GIRL HAD A SLIGHT HEADACHE BUT I MADE IT THROUGH IT STRONGER THAN EVER!!
I bought this big notebook & when I say it's big I MEAN IT from Barnes & Noble & as I was reading this information I took the most organized notes ever. It made my notes from high school look like absolute trash LOL!
It was super interesting overall. The first lesson was about the basics of Leadership which I knew most of the information already from being a Sales Lead but getting another person's perspective on it & keep in mind most of the quotes & references the professor was making were from CEOs & very successful businessmen which was interesting to see from that point of view.
As I was taking notes & obtaining the information I really grew to like it & opening myself up to learn new things when I was at first super nervous. I took the first quiz & I was again very nervous because in the past testing has not been my thing what so ever. It was a 5 question quiz THANK GOD! I got 4/5 questions right which meant that I was in the green zone & PASSED!! I was so proud of myself!
It's going to take a lot of getting use to but I'm excited to see what else I learn & what I'm going to take away from all of this!
