March 2025 Favorites

March 2025 Favorites Hey guys! I'm back with another favorites post. I want to try to do these posts monthly so y'all can kind of know what trends & new stuff I've been digging lately from pop culture, fashion, beauty & so much more! I want this post to be very versatile in the type of favorites that I talk about and not just single it down to one thing. I hope you enjoy this post & stick around for more! Poppi Classic Cola So, I know in the last blog post I discussed falling into the Diet Coke trend but the other trend I have not told y'all about that I have been into lately is Poppi. I've had Poppi in the past, but it was more mixed into alcohol and never by itself. I wanted to get into the Classic Cola because I've been trying to find healthier alternatives to caffeine that aren't just iced coffee or sweet teas, and I really like the taste of the Poppi Classic Cola. It's a lightweight taste and a good pick me up! I want to try some of the...

I Hosted My BIGGEST Event Yet with SPONSORS & A DJ!! Outfit Details: Dress: Lulu's Shoes: Dolce Vita (Nordstrom Rack) Necklace: Wild Pink Boutique Earrings: Kendra Scott Hey guys! Since I've used this blog for the past 8 years to talk about events in my life that have been so special, let's talk about MY BIGGEST EVENT I'VE HOSTED YET!! Yes, you saw the title right, I did not only host an event for Galentines but I also had SPONSORS & A DJ! For someone who has been a smaller content creator for 9 years, those words even coming out of my mouth is an absolutely insane feeling!  It all started with a vision to collaborate a pop culture dance party (which is 100% in my element if you personally know me) and bringing the girlies together for the most iconic dance party for Galentines season! The party was called, "Feminomenon: A Galentines Dance Party" (yes, Chappell Roan inspired) & it was going to be a huge celebration of GIRLHOOD which is literally t...

My Grammys 2021 Recap

My Grammys 2021 Recap Hey guys!! So... here it is! My Grammys 2021 Recap (well the written version)! This is my blog post version of my Grammys 2021 recap & this will be my last post for a while as I spend more time focusing on my podcast so let's end things with a bang before I go on a much needed blog hiatus. I did a promise a Grammy recap & I will give y'all.. just freaking that!! Usually every year, I record the Grammys on my DVR & then watch it the next day after watching it live & do my review there but this year, I wanted to switch things up! I will be doing more of a recap than a second by second review! I will be taking a hiatus from blogging to focus more on my podcast so if you haven't listened to it, search It's A BOP! with Jess on Spotify! Click here for my Grammys 2021 podcast episode:  Podcast Episode The recap is ONLY going to be on my podcast!

How Do I HONESTLY Feel About Grammys 2021... Hey guys! So today's post is going to be sharing my final thoughts before the Grammys TOMORROW!!! ISN'T THAT FREAKING CRAZY?? I have been waiting for this day since Grammys 2020 & since then, a lot has gone on & waiting for this year's awards has felt like YEARS but I am freaking excited it's finally almost here! So today's post is basically going to be the written & very much shortened version of my previous podcast episode! Click here to listen to the episode if you are listener rather than a reader! So, the reason I really got into the Grammys this year is because one of my main quarantine activities was to do Grammy predictions & really dive in to why certain songs & artists get nominated & we are going to talk about how I feel now that the Grammys are TOMORROW! I'm really looking forward to seeing how the General Field categories are going to turn out because I really think Best New Artist...

Filling in the Blanks... (My 2021 Grammys Performers Predictions) Hey guys! Happy 4 Year Anniversary American Teen!

Happy 4 Year Anniversary American Teen! Hey guys! I am feeling a little bit nostalgic today so I decided hey, why not blog about it? It is currently March 3, 2021 aka the 4 year anniversary of Khalid's debut album American Teen! This album means the world to me because it really got me into Khalid & I just began to love him so very very much. I regret not going to the American Teen Tour but going to the Free Spirit Tour made up for it! Click here to see my Free Spirit Tour experience post that is getting views again! Whenever this album came out, I was 19 years old & it was the year after I graduated high school. I was really trying to really get into a new artist & then I was on Twitter which at the time was brand new because my old Twitter account had gotten suspended so I was trying to rebrand myself on Twitter.  I ran into Khalid on Twitter & the first song I heard was Location & I was into it then I heard Saved & immediately I fell in love.  I star...

Stats for Spotify Results (February/March 2021)

Stats for Spotify Results (February/March 2021) Hey guys! I know I didn't do a Stats post last month because I was on a blog break & my Stats results were IDENTICAL as the December/January results so I didn't really want to post them. I also post music I'm into on my podcast, "It's A BOP! with Jess" & a lot of the music I'm currently into is discussed on the podcast. If you want to check out the podcast, it's linked on the side of my blog or simply look it up on Spotify! It's crazy to think I did my first Stats post ONE YEAR AGO! I intentionally did the post because I had discovered the website & wanted to share my results, then it became a tradition of mine on here & the views I got from each post were getting higher & higher so I figured this would be a fun monthly tradition so happy 1 year to that! ANYWAYS! Let's see what music I've been into lately! I will be posting my Top 10 most played songs from the last 4 weeks ...

Iconic Songs that are Turning 10 YEARS OLD in 2021!!!

Iconic Songs that are Turning 10 YEARS OLD in 2021!!! Hello guys! Happy 2021! Also, Happy 10 Year Anniversary to the year 2011. I was indeed a very awkward 7th grader who loved Glee (way too much) & had a massive crush on Drake (still do). 2011 was certainly an awkward year for me but in music, it was the most iconic thing ever. Today, I'm going to list some iconic songs that are turning double digits this year & why they are still so iconic to this day! Happy 10th Birthday to these iconic songs!! It Will Rain by Bruno Mars Who didn't get in the feels over this song? At this age, I had never experienced heartbreak but damn Bruno Mars really did something with this song that had 14 year old me sobbing over a heartbreak that never existed.  Best Friend's Brother by Victoria Justice Talk about a freaking classic. I was OBSESSED with Victorious in 2011 & 2011 was the start of my Ariana Grande obsession that's still thriving. Don't discount Victoria though. I...

Twitter Followed Me on Twitter?!

Twitter Followed Me on Twitter?! PJ Set is from Victoria's Secret & Watch is from Amazon! Also peep Sam in the background being a sleepy & precious dog! Hey guys! This post was completely unplanned so now I'm just going to type & ramble about my life right now because I haven't done that in a while considering I pre planned most of my posts from this year earlier this month. I've been working A LOT & getting my podcast started & running so my blogging has been super limited but today I'm going to tell y'all a little short story that's freaking insane. So yesterday my Twitter notifications were BLOWING UP & I was super confused. I had gotten out of work & not checked my phone for several hours so these notifications definitely caught me on guard.  I had TOTALLY forgotten that Twitter's social media team contacted me a few weeks ago about using my tweet that said, "I want a refund on my 2020 planner". If we are complet...

Revealing My 2020 Spotify Wrapped Playlist!

Revealing My 2020 Spotify Wrapped Playlist! Hey guys! SPOTIFY WRAPPED IS BACK & this list is probably my best list yet. Last year, I did a post where I exposed my Spotify Wrapped playlist & it went over so well that I had no choice but to do it this year! I've divided my Wrapped playlist into groups & I will be reacting to every single group whether I saw this coming or not. Since March 2020, I've revealed my Stats for Spotify results on the blog so I kind of expected most of these songs to be on here. Definitely what's different from my list last year is that I had certain albums ON REPEAT & you will obviously see which ones they were! Usually in my past Wrapped playlists, I mostly had artists I was prepping to see live in concert but unfortunately 2020 has left me but with no choice but to OVERLY OBSESS over a album & there were a TON to obsess over!  Wrapped playlists this year are available to share to everyone so if you do like the songs on this pla...
