So if you don't follow me on social media Khalid has been my thing lately!! I discovered Khalid in February 2017 & I was going through so much whenever I discovered him. I was going through Twitter one day & I had ran into the link for Location which was his big song then & then after I heard that song I immediately did more research on him & ran into his other music. 

I loved his music immediately! His voice & his vibe are absolutely everything! Also I love the fact he's a Texas boy, always representing the class of 2016 (my high school graduating class), & his personality too. He's one of my favorite people on Twitter that I follow because of how active he is with his fans & he just has fun with it! He's so real & I love when an artist is real in his music & everyday life!

I wanted to do a Khalid themed post to celebrate his new album coming out, the fact I'm finally seeing him in concert this July, & because I never shut up about him on my Twitter so why not do a blog post about him?? Down below I'm going to tell y'all some of my favorite Khalid songs from American Teen, Free Spirit, Suncity, & even his collabs! 

American Teen:
Saved - Right after I discovered Location I ran into this song! Literally I loved it so much that right after I listened to it that first time it was so stuck in my head that whole day I swear I was listening to nothing but that! It never gets old! I'm still obsessed with it!

Keep Me - This song is so catchy! It's one that I easily get stuck in my head. The music & the vibes are the best in this song!

American Teen - I'm sad this song didn't come out during my senior year of high school because I would have totally used this jam in all of my senior year themed Instagram posts! This song brings me joy because it reminds me of being with my closest friends celebrating that last year of high school & how I cherished every one of those memories very close to my heart.

Collabs:
OTW - ONE OF MY ALL TIME FAVORITE SONGS FROM THE PAST YEAR!! Khalid, 6LACK, & Ty Dolla Sign really came through with this JAM! I jam is so loud every time I listen to it. It instantly puts me in a good mood!

Love Lies - I love this collaboration! This is another song I could not stop listening to when it came out. I still get so happy listening to it!

Youth - I was so happy when Shawn & Khalid announced they were doing a song together. They are 2 of my favorite artists right now & the message in this song is so powerful!

Free Spirit:
Right Back - This is my current favorite song off the album! It's such a fun song! I can't wait to hear this song live in concert on his tour (if he doesn't perform it I'm gonna be sad but most likely he will since he performed it at Coachella).

My Bad - Oh my god I love this song so much! It's such a fun song to go cruising to (especially if you are cruising downtown Corpus).

Bad Luck - Another fun song to go cruising downtown Corpus to! I love the vibe in this song so much!

Suncity:
Vertigo - I honestly cried when I first heard this song. Khalid's voice sounds absolutely beautiful in this. It gives me goosebumps every time I listen to it. If he performs this on tour I will probably sob the whole time!

Motion - This is by far my favorite song off of the whole Suncity EP! Motion deserves more appreciation! Even Khalid tweets about it 24/7!
