Business Casual With Some Summetime Vibes!

Business Casual With Some Summetime Vibes!

My style personally is casual, comfortable, & trendy! In my job I had in retail fashion it was pretty flexible what we could wear. We could wear jeans with a nice blouse or even just a real casual V-neck & dress it up with some fun jewelry to dress it up! My main goal whenever I dress up is that I want to look presentable but comfortable.

From the industry I do want to be in, I do have to dress up a little more. Let me be real with y'all though! I HATE LONG PANTS! If I could live in shorts year round, trust me I would. In South Texas, especially in the summertime it gets so freaking hot that wearing long pants truly makes me feel gross plus I've always been super confident in showing my long tan legs so instead of black slacks (which I'll have to eventually get some for fall/winter), I discovered skirts & how to really dress them up!

I have very few skirts right now because I'm super short waisted & have long legs so I've had to try on so many to get the perfect fit! I mostly had casual denim skirts which I've gotten away in the office setting but one thing I was missing was just a black skirt. I didn't want to get a pencil skirt because I know too tight fitting could look weird.

I found the PERFECT black skirt that will fit so well in a professional business environment! They are black denim but you can barely tell! It's such a nice fit for my body shape & it flares out perfectly! I usually am a size 6-8 or 27-29 in pants but this skirt does fit small so I did have to go with a size 10!

These are just a few ways you can style it! I went more towards wearing this skirt for summer. I chose some tanks that showcase the skirt the best! The striped tank was only tucked in the back so I could show off the tie in the front & the pink tank is tucked in all of the way! Plus I've been really into tucking in fun tanks with skirts! I also showcased a off the shoulder top & a real flowy, casual, & breathable short sleep top that would good for a untucked look! The tops are from Express & Francesca's! I'm going to personally have a blast pairing this skirt with all types of outfits!

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City Hey guys! Today we will be doing a fashion themed post & today's theme is making fall fashion cute but if you live in a southern coastal city where it is still 90 degrees outside. I feel like there is not enough recognition for coastal falls, especially in fashion so today, we are going to get realistic about fall fashion while it is still 90 degrees outside. Neutrals Go with EVERYTHING! No matter if you are doing a tank top and shorts look or even a sweater with jeans (if you risk being sweaty after the fact), neutrals are a GO TO for every season but mostly for fall. Lean towards your black, white, & even like an oatmeal type of neutral colored clothing & focus on those when building your coastal fall wardrobe. How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026 Outfit Details: Top: Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts: Nordstrom Hey guys! I know I have been MIA from the blog for a while (most of the year actually) but I went MIA for very good reasons!  2025 has been full of blessings and amazing memories. As we start goal setting for 2026, I want to recap how 2025 became my best year yet and how going into 2026, I am feeling such a fresh mindset and this positive momentum we had in 2025 will in fact continue in 2026. I want to continue to be a positive force within not only myself but also for the people around me as well. 2025 became the year I have been longing for since I stepped into this crazy world of adulthood at 18 years old and that is, working full time in marketing/social media. Within the company I have worked for the past 2 1/2 years, this past June I switched departments from Membership/Recruitment to full on Marketing which if you have been following me for a while has been...
