Chill Spots in Corpus

Chill Spots in Corpus

Happy Sunday! It's a pretty chill day today which brought me inspiration for this post. Today, I'm going to tell y'all some of my favorite "chill spots" in Corpus. For those who aren't from Corpus & are looking to visit & do typical tourist stuff, this is not the post! Click here if you want basic tourist Corpus things!

Cole Park - In the picture above, that's where I am! Cole Park was better back in the day (RIP the OG Cole Park playground IF YOU KNOW YOU KNOW), I still love coming here to take a walk, take fun Corpus pics, & simply hang out with my friends. You also get a beautiful view of the bay & lots of opportunities to relax!

Brewster Street Icehouse - I LOVE BREWSTER STREET! Not only do they have amazing food, drinks, & music but I just honestly love the atmosphere overall! I tend to come here when I want the true night out in downtown experience or even before concerts at Concrete Street or the American Bank Center. It's so convenient to everything downtown!

The Library Bar - This is such a fun & young atmosphere! I recently discovered this place & I consider this a pretty chill spot to hang out with friends. They always have pretty good drink deals too everyday so I highly recommend checking them out if you want that young & fun atmosphere! It's in a convenient area too over by the university!

The Island - I LOVE GOING TO THE ISLAND! There's so many fun things to do on the island! You can go to the cute beach shops, go mini golfing, go to the Schliterbahn out there (I think they recently changed the name of ours to something else), go to Bob Hall Pier, & so much more! Highly recommend grabbing your favorite people & spend a weekend out on the island!

That's just a few of my favorite spots! If y'all want me to do more posts like this one, let me know! If there's any certain spots you are curious about & want me to do a post on as well, I'm always down for an adventure or even being the basic "Corpus tourist" for a day doing the typical touristy things! Have a fabulous Sunday guys!

I haven't celebrated a blogging anniversary in a really long time, but I was looking back on when I started this blog and how long it has been, it absolutely blew my mind. I wish I could tell that lonely & confused 19-year-old me that at almost 28 years old, she is living most of the content creating dream she has always wanted. Thank y'all for being on this ride for 8 years <3 Instagram: @jessicanicoledeleon Podcast: It's A BOP! with Jess on Spotify

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City Hey guys! Today we will be doing a fashion themed post & today's theme is making fall fashion cute but if you live in a southern coastal city where it is still 90 degrees outside. I feel like there is not enough recognition for coastal falls, especially in fashion so today, we are going to get realistic about fall fashion while it is still 90 degrees outside. Neutrals Go with EVERYTHING! No matter if you are doing a tank top and shorts look or even a sweater with jeans (if you risk being sweaty after the fact), neutrals are a GO TO for every season but mostly for fall. Lean towards your black, white, & even like an oatmeal type of neutral colored clothing & focus on those when building your coastal fall wardrobe. Neutral Outfit Inspo from Pinterest Tube Tops with Light Cardigans Whether you are wearing the tube top with shorts or jeans, if you really want to channel that fall look or even if you are going somewhere indoors wher...

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026 Outfit Details: Top: Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts: Nordstrom Hey guys! I know I have been MIA from the blog for a while (most of the year actually) but I went MIA for very good reasons!  2025 has been full of blessings and amazing memories. As we start goal setting for 2026, I want to recap how 2025 became my best year yet and how going into 2026, I am feeling such a fresh mindset and this positive momentum we had in 2025 will in fact continue in 2026. I want to continue to be a positive force within not only myself but also for the people around me as well. 2025 became the year I have been longing for since I stepped into this crazy world of adulthood at 18 years old and that is, working full time in marketing/social media. Within the company I have worked for the past 2 1/2 years, this past June I switched departments from Membership/Recruitment to full on Marketing which if you have been following me for a while has been...
