HEYY!! Welcome to the #SummerLife! I know this post is a few days overdue (usually I start my #SummerLife blog series on May 1 but this year is different), but at least #SummerLife is still alive & well (this blog is also alive & well)!

So if you're new here... what is the #SummerLife? 4 years ago when I started this blog, I had this insane obsession with the YouTube summer series Summer Break (if you remember that show you're a real one) & whenever I decided I wanted to create my own content, a summer series like Summer Break had to be included!

The first 2 years of doing the series, I would consistently tell y'all my daily summer activities whether it was working, going to the pool, or going to a concert!

Summer is my favorite time of year so glamorizing my summer activities was right in my element! At the bottom of the post I tagged a "Summer Life" tag to where you can view older posts of how this series came to be.

Over the past 2 years, the series has evolved & changed! Last summer, I went away with the whole series as a whole because you know... 2020.

This summer, when I was thinking about reviving the series, I really thought about what I wanted in this year's series. This #SummerLife will probably be one of the most realest posts of the series as whole!

This summer is truly going to be a summer full of growth in many aspects of my life. If you don't know, I have a podcast (It's A BOP! with Jess) which this week, I will wrapping up Season 1 to focus on my career, online courses to advance my career, & just overall grow as a individual!

Yes, it's fun to share myself at the beach but summer is more than just the beach! Throughout the series, I will tell y'all more than my beach trips. I will tell y'all my personal growth!

We will not only have "Hot Girl Summer" but we will also have "Shot Girl Summer" (yes, I'm fully vaccinated & get the vaccine to save lives)!

Stay tuned for the season finale of Season 1 of It's A BOP! with Jess coming THIS WEEK!

Most importantly, HAPPY SUMMER!! See y'all in the next post!

8 Years of Content Creating. I haven't celebrated a blogging anniversary in a really long time, but I was looking back on when I started this blog and how long it has been, it absolutely blew my mind. I wish I could tell that lonely & confused 19-year-old me that at almost 28 years old, she is living most of the content creating dream she has always wanted. Thank y'all for being on this ride for 8 years <3 Instagram: @jessicanicoledeleon Podcast: It's A BOP! with Jess on Spotify

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City Hey guys! Today we will be doing a fashion themed post & today's theme is making fall fashion cute but if you live in a southern coastal city where it is still 90 degrees outside. I feel like there is not enough recognition for coastal falls, especially in fashion so today, we are going to get realistic about fall fashion while it is still 90 degrees outside. Neutrals Go with EVERYTHING! No matter if you are doing a tank top and shorts look or even a sweater with jeans (if you risk being sweaty after the fact), neutrals are a GO TO for every season but mostly for fall. Lean towards your black, white, & even like an oatmeal type of neutral colored clothing & focus on those when building your coastal fall wardrobe. Neutral Outfit Inspo from Pinterest Tube Tops with Light Cardigans Whether you are wearing the tube top with shorts or jeans, if you really want to channel that fall look or even if you are going somewhere indoors wher...

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026 Outfit Details: Top: Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts: Nordstrom Hey guys! I know I have been MIA from the blog for a while (most of the year actually) but I went MIA for very good reasons!  2025 has been full of blessings and amazing memories. As we start goal setting for 2026, I want to recap how 2025 became my best year yet and how going into 2026, I am feeling such a fresh mindset and this positive momentum we had in 2025 will in fact continue in 2026. I want to continue to be a positive force within not only myself but also for the people around me as well. 2025 became the year I have been longing for since I stepped into this crazy world of adulthood at 18 years old and that is, working full time in marketing/social media. Within the company I have worked for the past 2 1/2 years, this past June I switched departments from Membership/Recruitment to full on Marketing which if you have been following me for a while has been...
