I wish I could tell y'all where the cup is from because it's SO CUTE & PERFECT for my last couple of beach trips!

HEYYYY! Yes, I'm coming out of blog retirement slowly but surely! Today's #SummerLife post is going to be all about the past couple of days on my little (kind of) beach trip! My family every May (except for last year), goes on their annual beach trip to Port A & this is such a fun tradition for my family & I.

For as long as I can remember, this annual May beach trip has been in my family & personally, it's a fun way to kick off summer!

Since Port A is so close to where I live, I didn't spend the night at the condos this time around but next month, we've got a whole other weekend out there!

I had an amazing past couple of days out there spending much needed time with family considering I hadn't seen a bunch of them in over a year!

I was suppose to be out there 3 days but I couldn't go out there the 3rd day because of flood warnings in my area & driving out there simply wouldn't have been safe but I'm just grateful for the time I did get out there & next month, I'll be out there... once again!

This post will mostly be showcasing the outfits I wore on this trip because I can't think of the last time I actually did a post like this on here considering the fact I don't shop as often as I use to (confessions of a former shopaholic).

First things first, I must talk about the outfit I wore in the main photo of this post because, I finally got on the trend & got myself one of those swim cover up skirts! The one I got from Shein wasn't a see through one like a lot of the other ones I've been seeing are but I liked how it was adjustable & it came in so many fun colors. I got the black because it went with a lot of the swimsuits I owned & frankly, I didn't want to take it off because I was that obsessed with it.

Hanging in the condo look:
Top & Scrunchie: Francesca's
Shorts: Old Navy

Last outfit for this post, but this was my 2nd day beach look:
Swimsuit Top: Shein
Shorts: JC Penney
Sunglasses: Target
Visor: Padre Islander (local beach shop)

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City Hey guys! Today we will be doing a fashion themed post & today's theme is making fall fashion cute but if you live in a southern coastal city where it is still 90 degrees outside. I feel like there is not enough recognition for coastal falls, especially in fashion so today, we are going to get realistic about fall fashion while it is still 90 degrees outside. Neutrals Go with EVERYTHING! No matter if you are doing a tank top and shorts look or even a sweater with jeans (if you risk being sweaty after the fact), neutrals are a GO TO for every season but mostly for fall. Lean towards your black, white, & even like an oatmeal type of neutral colored clothing & focus on those when building your coastal fall wardrobe. Neutral Outfit Inspo from Pinterest Tube Tops with Light Cardigans Whether you are wearing the tube top with shorts or jeans, if you really want to channel that fall look or even if you are going somewhere indoors wher...

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026 Outfit Details: Top: Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts: Nordstrom Hey guys! I know I have been MIA from the blog for a while (most of the year actually) but I went MIA for very good reasons!  2025 has been full of blessings and amazing memories. As we start goal setting for 2026, I want to recap how 2025 became my best year yet and how going into 2026, I am feeling such a fresh mindset and this positive momentum we had in 2025 will in fact continue in 2026. I want to continue to be a positive force within not only myself but also for the people around me as well. 2025 became the year I have been longing for since I stepped into this crazy world of adulthood at 18 years old and that is, working full time in marketing/social media. Within the company I have worked for the past 2 1/2 years, this past June I switched departments from Membership/Recruitment to full on Marketing which if you have been following me for a while has been...
