Khalid Free Spirit World Tour San Antonio Experience

Hey guys!! I am currently in full recovery mode after the night I had last night. I travelled 2 hours from Corpus to San Antonio to see Khalid live & let me tell y'all how amazing this show truly was! I've loved Khalid for a little over 2 years now & when I discovered him I immediately fell in love with his vibe, his voice, his personality, & everything! His songs have gotten me through good times & tough times so this show personally was super special for me!

I went to the show with a few friends & we had such good seats!! We were literally RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE which was the perfect view of his whole production & visuals. I was personally so amazed by the visuals in the show. I knew Khalid was aesthetic but these visuals left me SHOOK! I've been to a lot of concerts & I've never seen such a stunning production before like Khalid's show!

So as we were waiting for the show, Khalid literally pulled off the funniest & best thing ever! So fans have been telling him for months to include the San Antonio song in his show & if you have no idea what I'm talking about click here! Right before he went on the song played & let me tell y'all I WAS LAUGHING SO HARD IT WAS SO ICONIC LOL!

He started off the show with the perfect mashup of Intro & Free Spirit was such an excellent way to start off the show! Then he performed bops like 8TEEN, Twenty One, Hundred, Saved (which will always bring special meaning to me because it's basically the song that made me start loving him), & my personal favorite MY FREAKING BAD!! I'm so happy I got to hear that song live!

My Bad has to be my top favorite song off of Free Spirit! Then guess what he performed after that? My second favorite song off of Free Spirit which is Bad Luck! I was jamming so hard & then right after that he went straight into Bluffin which his vocals in that song live were soo amazing!

Then we went into my personal favorite part of the night which was hearing Vertigo live! Whenever the Suncity EP came out, I immediately fell in love with Vertigo. His vocals in this song are beyond beautiful & it was even more beautiful hearing it in person. I nearly cried because it was an OUTSTANDING performance! Grammy worthy in my opinion!

After that Grammy worthy performance & a million tears later he then performed Motion (which is another favorite of mine from the Suncity EP), Better, Right Back (another top favorite of mine from Free Spirit that I was shaking my little booty to), & Location which I'll always have a soft spot for that song! It's the song that basically changed his life!

The picture above truly captures how great our seats were & how amazing of a view we got! Anyways! After Location he performed Silence which was so much fun live! Khalid literally has the best collaborations & the fact he got to showcase some of them in his show warmed my heart! Wow I can really go all day about how much I love him! Later on in the show he performed some of his other collabs like OTW which is probably one of my all time favorite songs from the past couple of years, Eastside, & Love Lies which honestly I really got into my feelings with that one!

I also loved how much of the American Teen stuff he showcased in his show! He performed his hits like Saved & Location but he also performed American Teen, Another Sad Love Song, Winter, & Coaster. You always got to showcase the classics am I right or am I right? He also performed Suncity which was a blast live! Then he sang the most beautiful version of Intro. Intro truly deserved the best & at that show IT DID! 

He also performed Alive which his visual for that song had me SOBBING! Paradise, Self, & Outta My Head were also a lot of fun live & then Talk WENT HARD!! Ok, let's be real though the song that had me hyped & sobbing at the same time was Young, Dumb, & Broke. I realized when he was performing that how special Khalid's music was to me & how much of a blast I was having. It was so many emotions all coming at me at once! Then he beautifully ended the show showing off his amazing vocals in Saturday Nights! Overall this show is probably one of my top 10 favorite concerts. It meant so much to me to hear songs that have really got me through adulting live in person & seeing how humble & pure Khalid truly is warmed my heart. PROTECT KHALID AT ALL COSTS! I can't wait to experience another one of his shows!
