I Attended Lollapalooza in 2020!!
Hey guys! Today's post was literally 4 DAYS IN THE MAKING! So, Lollapalooza did their 4 day music festival online & virtual which I found super cool. It also cured my concert withdrawals & actually gave me something to look forward to. I HAD SO MUCH FUN watching all sorts of acts & it also inspired me to want to attend music festivals when it's safe to do so (I've never done ACL before, so let's cross our fingers that 2021 is THAT YEAR)!
If you liked this post, ALWAYS LET ME KNOW & if you watched Lolla virtual this year tell me what your favorite acts were! My favorite acts were Paul McCartney, OutKast, Khalid, & The Weeknd!
My Lollapalooza Schedule
I wasn't going to personally watch the ENTIRE festival, so I prioritized what acts I wanted to see & made a little schedule for myself as if I was at a real music festival! Each festival's days started at 5pm central time (THANK GOD! Most of the time these virtual festivals are California times which leaves me watching acts sometimes at 2am).

Day 1-Paul McCartney's Set Was LIFE CHANGING!
Day 1 had so many cool acts! I was especially SUPER EXCITED for Paul McCartney's 2015 Lolla set! Paul went to ACL a few years back & from some friends they all told me Paul's set was LIFE CHANGING & AMAZING so of course, I had to see what the hype was about! I grew up listening to a bunch of Beatles music so I was familiar with a lot of the songs. The set overall was the most amazing thing I've ever experienced in my life! I'm actually going to link the set down below so y'all can witness with your own eyes how amazing this set was!
(I realized RIGHT BEFORE I uploaded this post that the version I watched was a shortened version so I linked y'all the FULL & UNCUT performance!)
I'll shut up about Paul now (I could talk all freaking day about his performance)! Another highlight from the night that I truly enjoyed were the 2 songs they showed of BROCKHAMPTON's 2018 set! I've been a BROCKHAMPTON fan since 2017 (Fun fact: I went to the same middle school as Kevin Abstract & very ironically the street name of our middle school was Brockhampton) & I was JAMMING during their set! They showed their performances of Gold & Swamp & honestly I totally forgot how much I loved these songs (I hadn't listened to them in years). After the pandemic, I definitely want to make it out to a BROCKHAMPTON show!
Day 2-FRIDAY I'M IN LOVE!!
I was recovering from how amazing Paul was the night before so I kind of dipped out of Lolla after Chance's set (which Chance is super cool live & it was his Coloring Book songs so that was even cooler)!
Day 3-I said what's cooler than being cool?? SEEING A FULL OUTKAST SETLIST FROM 2014 IN 2020!
I was always curious to know what a set from OutKast looked like & LET ME TELL Y'ALL! I WAS SO OBNOXIOUS during The Whole World & Hey Ya! After the pandemic, OUTKAST NEEDS TO GET BACK TOGETHER & GO TO ACL OR SOMETHING! That show was insane & a blast!
Day 4-MY FAVORITE PEOPLE EVER.. KHALID & THE WEEKND!!
Last day was a short one, mainly because I was really only trying to see Khalid & The Weeknd (which were cut WAY TOO SHORT). I literally wanted to end my Lolla run with a BANG so after they showed The Weeknd's one performance of Starboy, I was depserate for more of The Weeknd so I looked up the full set online which I will actually link below because the setlist was SO GOOD (I love the Starboy era so I was living my best life!!)!
