Filling in the Blanks... (My 2021 Grammys Performers Predictions)

Hey guys! I guess Grammys week is starting a day early this year because CBS did these fill in the blank artist line up reveal & I couldn't help but do a whole entire blog post predicting who's performing this year. Hopefully, I'll be right! Today's blog post is going to be me trying to fill in these blanks & predict who I think is going to perform at the Grammys this year!

So there's 26 spots & I'm going to try to guess to the best of my ability who fills up each of these spots! These are not the official performers, these are JUST predictions! The official performers will be announced tomorrow just like the picture says above!

There will be tributes that of course I won't mention because sometimes the Recording Academy pulls random tributes out of no where!

I also won't be going in any particular order! That would be DIFFICULT to do plus they could be making names longer to tease us all!

1. Taylor Swift

I will be VERY shocked if Taylor isn't announced as a performer considering how much she is nominated & has 2 General Field nominations! It's going to be SUPER HARD to predict what exactly she is going to perform considering she's come out with Folklore, Evermore, & the Fearless Re-Recordings. Taylor has surprised us so much this year that I think her performance will be a surprise as well. My predictions for what she's going to perform are going to be SO OFF!

Performance Prediction: Cardigan, Willow, or Love Story

2. Harry Styles

This is one I'm really hoping happens because y'all already know how big of a Harry Styles stan I am. There was a leaked commercial a while back that showed a few of the performers & Harry was on this list so I have VERY high hopes that he will be on this list plus several media outlets have confirmed it as well! It will be super interesting to see what he will end up performing. It could honestly go either way with him!

Performance Prediction: Golden/Adore You/Watermelon Sugar medley, Fine Line, or She (I just really want Harry to perform She)

3. Dua Lipa

Again, I think this is a lock & will 100% happen. Dua's song is being played in the commercials like CRAZY & she's nominated so many times! My performance prediction will hopefully be right. I don't see Dua doing anything too crazy different from what she's done before!

Performance Prediction: We're Good/Levitating (with DaBaby)/Don't Start Now medley

4. Billie Eilish

This is another lock & will probably 100% happen considering how much she is nominated!

Performance Prediction: Everything I Wanted or Therefore I Am

5. Megan Thee Stallion

Your future (hopefully) Best New Artist is for sure getting a performance!

Performance Prediction: Body, Cry Baby, or Savage Remix (with Beyonce)

6. Beyonce

We are long overdue for a new Beyonce Grammys performance let's be real!

Performance Prediction: Black Parade, Savage Remix (with Megan Thee Stallion), or a song we've never heard!

7. Post Malone

I know he's nominated for Circles but for some reason, I feel like if he is announced as a performer he's going to perform something else!

Performance Prediction: Circles, Only Wanna Be With You (with Hootie & the Blowfish), or a song we've never heard!

8. Roddy Ricch

Come on, we have to hear The Box live at this awards ceremony!

Performance Prediction: The Box or ROCKSTAR (with DaBaby)

9. DaBaby

I doubt he will get a performance on his own but I 100% believe he will be present in some way!

Performance Prediction: Levitating (with Dua Lipa) or ROCKSTAR (with DaBaby)

10. Hootie & The Blowfish

I'm only predicting them because of the Post Malone cover.

Performance Prediction: Only Wanna Be With You (with Post Malone)

11. BTS

We will never hear the end of it on Twitter if they don't perform.

Performance Prediction: Dynamite or another song I'm not familiar with (ARMY y'all are going to be way better predicting this than me)

12. H.E.R.

She's nominated so many times & Grammys 2019 truly got me into her. Her Grammy performances are unforgettable & it's almost a tradition to have her there!

Performance Prediction: I Can't Breathe

13. Black Pumas

They are indeed nominated for ROTY & it just wouldn't shock me at all if they were announced tomorrow as performers.

Performance Prediction: Colors

14. Doja Cat

We all know Best New Artist is going to be down between Doja & Megan so why not have both of them perform?

Performance Prediction: Say So or Streets

15. Poppy

I read this off of Pop Base, so most likely it's true.

Performance Prediction: I literally can't name one of her songs.

16. Jhene Aiko

She is nominated for AOTY for Chilombo & most likely going to sweep the R&B categories. She also is the host of the pre-show so it would make perfect sense for her to squeeze a performance in there!

Performance Prediction: Lightning & Thunder (with John Legend)

17. John Legend

Seriously, what's a music award show without John Legend being there? He's also nominated so that gives me even more clarification  he will in fact be included!

Performance Prediction: Lightning & Thunder (with Jhene Aiko) or Wild (with Gary Clark Jr.)

18. Gary Clark Jr.

He's been at a bunch of the past years & his guitar playing is so freaking cool. He has a high chance of being there!

Performance Prediction: Wild (with John Legend)

19. Demi Lovato

She moved me to tears last year when she performed Anyone (I wished the Recording Academy actually gave her recognition for it)!

Performance Prediction: A song we've never heard!

20. Adele

It's time to come out of hiding Adele.

Performance Prediction: A song we've never heard!

21. Bad Bunny

He KILLED IT this past year & I saw on a leaked commercial that he was on the list so this will probably 100% happen!

Performance Prediction: Yo Perreo Sola

22. Maren Morris

Her name was also on the leaked commercial!

Performance Prediction: The Bones

23. SZA

If SZA actually came on stage & performed Good Days or Bloodstain, I'd scream!

Performance Prediction: Good Days or Bloodstain

24. Phoebe Bridgers

She could possibly be the artist that robs Megan out of BNA..

Performance Prediction: The song she's nominated for!

25. HAIM

They are indeed nominated for AOTY just saying!

Performance Prediction: No Body No Crime (with Taylor Swift)

26. Silk Sonic (Bruno Mars & Anderson Paak)

I'm desperate to hear them perform Leave The Door Open.

Performance Prediction: Leave The Door Open
