My Loneliness is Killing Me...

 My Loneliness is Killing Me...

Top & Joggers: Forever 21

What a better way to start off my beach weekend getaway post with lyrics from Baby One More Time by Britney Spears as for my costume was inspired by the one scene in the music video where Britney wore the hot pink sports bra & white joggers (the school girl outfit was too expensive). I'll explain in a bit why we celebrated Halloween last weekend but in today's post I'll be sharing photos & fun memories from my beach weekend getaway in Port Aransas!

The reason we went out in the first place was mainly for my mom's birthday. My mom had her birthday last September & all she wanted for her birthday was a weekend at our favorite condo in Port Aransas. With all of our schedules we couldn't celebrate at the beach during her birthday week so here we are over a month later celebrating her birthday!

It was originally suppose to be me, my mom, my sister, & my brother in law while we invited a few friends but then my aunt & cousin came & they got their own condos! It was super fun & also relaxing too the beach was super relaxing. The weather was a little cool but still enjoyable!

We got to the condo mid Friday afternoon & we went straight out to the beach for a few hours, hit the pool, & then enjoyed the rest of our night hanging out & listening to music. I will gladly start of Friday's montage of pics with a picture of me & my cousin's ADORABLE dog! My swimsuit top is from Dillard's, the bottoms are from Victoria's Secret, & my sunglasses are from a local boutique called Jewel's! The cup I have in my hand is from HEB!

Then Saturday is where the early Halloween festivities began! My sister came up with the idea that we have a mini Halloween celebration at the condo & then the idea came into my head for my costume. I actually originally planned to do this costume idea last year but I was BROKE & couldn't afford to get the costume together but this year, I found cheap ways to make my dream costume come to life.

If y'all know me, I've wanted to do a Baby One More Time inspired costume since about mid high school. I just never was invited to the right parties or for instance last year, I was just BROKE. When my sister told us to dress up in costumes, I knew I had to do a Baby One More Time inspired costume. I chose to do the scene where she's in the hot pink sports bra because it was the cheapest costume & who doesn't wanna be at a beach condo hanging out in a hot pink sports bra? I am completely obsessed with how my costume came out! I'll insert another pic below because, WHY NOT!

I have so many pics from Saturday night but down below I'll insert a few photos of my sister as bigfoot, my best friend Mady as a bunny, & my mom as Carole Baskin. We actually tricked my sister & brother in law into thinking my mom wasn't going to dress up at all considering it was her birthday weekend getaway, my sister thought she was crazy for not dressing up but little did she know... we planned an ICONIC Carole Baskin costume. We didn't have a tiger stuffed animal but we did have an exotic cat (fun fact: he accidentally  fell 5 stories from the condo onto the condo patio, it was wild but made a hilarious story). That's pretty much it for today's post, next post will be more beach pics & a little beach shop haul because y'all know I love me some island tees & the amount of island tees I have now are INSANE! I hope y'all enjoyed today's post & stay tuned for more fun new posts!

I haven't celebrated a blogging anniversary in a really long time, but I was looking back on when I started this blog and how long it has been, it absolutely blew my mind. I wish I could tell that lonely & confused 19-year-old me that at almost 28 years old, she is living most of the content creating dream she has always wanted. Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City

Making Fall Fashion Cute in a Coastal City Hey guys! Today we will be doing a fashion themed post & today's theme is making fall fashion cute but if you live in a southern coastal city where it is still 90 degrees outside. I feel like there is not enough recognition for coastal falls, especially in fashion so today, we are going to get realistic about fall fashion while it is still 90 degrees outside. Neutrals Go with EVERYTHING! No matter if you are doing a tank top and shorts look or even a sweater with jeans (if you risk being sweaty after the fact), neutrals are a GO TO for every season but mostly for fall. Lean towards your black, white, & even like an oatmeal type of neutral colored clothing & focus on those when building your coastal fall wardrobe. How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026

How 2025 Became My Best Year Yet & 26 Goals for 2026 Outfit Details: Top: Abercrombie & Fitch Shorts: Nordstrom Hey guys! I know I have been MIA from the blog for a while (most of the year actually) but I went MIA for very good reasons!  2025 has been full of blessings and amazing memories. As we start goal setting for 2026, I want to recap how 2025 became my best year yet and how going into 2026, I am feeling such a fresh mindset and this positive momentum we had in 2025 will in fact continue in 2026. I want to continue to be a positive force within not only myself but also for the people around me as well. 2025 became the year I have been longing for since I stepped into this crazy world of adulthood at 18 years old and that is, working full time in marketing/social media. Within the company I have worked for the past 2 1/2 years, this past June I switched departments from Membership/Recruitment to full on Marketing which if you have been following me for a while has been...
