A few days ago I had posted my favorite underrated songs by well known artists which you can click here to check out! I had so much fun with that post that I decided to keep the underrated songs trend going on this blog! If you found any song suggestions or discovered a new artist while reading this post, ALWAYS LET ME KNOW! I love putting people on new music!
Underrated Songs by Underrated Artists
#1: On My Way by PRETTYMUCH
If you have been following this blog for the past 2 years, I have not been able to shut up about this song! 2 years later & I still think PRETTYMUCH deserves the world for this BOP! If this song went viral, PRETTYMUCH & this song would be HUGE! If you love a good catchy bop, you will LOVE this song!
#2: U12 by Daya
You may know Daya from that one Chainsmokers song, "Don't Let Me Down" but outside of all of that is a super creative artist! I first discovered this song at a free show of her's back in 2015 & I instantly became obsessed! Her first album actually has a bunch of super good songs on it that deserved mainstream success so after you listen to this song, listen to her first album!
#3: Wild Hearts by R5
If you know who Ross Lynch is, you know who R5 is! I know a lot of people overlooked them because of Ross being on Disney but with their last album Sometimes Last Night which features the song I have listed above, they truly show a whole different side to them that their mainstream Disney success failed to overlook. I recommend taking a listen to the whole album while you are here, they truly have excellent songs on there that deserved huge mainstream top 40 success!
#4: Yellow Lights by Jake Miller
One of my all time favorite songs by Jake Miller for sure! I know a ton of people that follow my blog don't know who he is but he's truly such a creative artist & I've been a fan of his since 2013 & he's grown so much over his career from doing rap, R&B, & pop, his art truly needs to be recognized by the public! This is a older song of his but he has a ton of music on his Spotify you can check out!
#5: Paralyzed by David Archuleta
I know I mentioned him in my post I did a few days ago & mentioned his older music but today we are going to talk about his newer music! His latest album Therapy Sessions recently came out & this song was the first track. This song truly is so fun & truly shows a whole other side to him that everyone should give him some recognition for! If you plan on listening to this, listen to his entire newest album! I promise you will be impressed!
#6: Beneath The Skin by Scarypoolparty
Literally one of the coolest new artists I have come across in the past year! I watch American Idol so that's how I discovered him & while watching him on there, I was so AMAZED by how talented he was & I never wanted to stop watching him perform (I've seen his audition video over 500 times). I chose the song above to post because it's truly so different from anything that's out in the industry After you listen to this, listen to his album which has even more insanely creative songs!
#7: Special by Jacob Whitesides
Jacob Whitesides truly deserves all of the success possible! He's so insanely talented & his newest music from his last 2 EPs Colors & Winter Hurts truly show who he is as a artist & let me tell y'all, it's FLAWLESS!
#8: Deep End by Austin Mahone
#9: Alone by Bazzi
Bazzi, ANOTHER SUPER UNDERRATED ARTIST! I chose this song because it's my favorite but he also has so many other good songs! Overlook, "Mine" because it was super popular & listen to his other music! You won't regret it!
